Dear Collaborators, Solar activity continues at a very low level. The largest event since the last message was a B5.1 flare produced by an east limb region at 06/04/01:15 UT. The target region NOAA 13026 was flare quiet during the period and has decayed to a beta/C-type region. We will watch this region for a final 24 hours before it rotates beyond the west limb. Only minor activities are expected in the following 24 hours. The position of NOAA 13026 on June 4 at 11:30 UT is: N16W70 (855", 262") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan. Regards, Ying Li (Purple Mountain Observatory) |
