Dear Collaborators, Solar activity has continued at the C-level. NOAA 13031 has produced several flares since the last message, and there has been a resurgence of activity from NOAA 13030, including a C5.6 at 10:52 UT today. NOAA 13031 has shown signs of decay but retains its beta-gamma configuration and shall remain the target region for a further 24 hours. Additoinal C-level activity likely. The position of NOAA 13031 on 17-Jun-2022 at 11:30 UT is: S25W37, ( 516", -415" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan. Regards, Ryan Milligan (Queen's University Belfast) |
