Dear Collaborators, Solar activity continues at low levels. NOAA 13031 and 13037 both produced C2 flares since the last message but have decayed significantly as they approach the western limb. The new target region shall be NOAA 13038, a newly emerged region in the northeast quadrant. It was also the source of a C2.0 flare at 07:10 UT today, and may produce further C-level activity as it continues to develop. The position of NOAA 13038 on 19-Jun-2022 at 11:30 UT is: N15E12, ( -190", 221" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan. Regards, Ryan Milligan (Queen's University Belfast) |
