Dear Collaborators, Solar activity has diminished since the last message, apart from an occulted long-duration mid C-flare from NOAA 13031, which is now behind the southwest limb. NOAA 13038 in the northwest quadrant has remained quiescent but retains its beta-gamma configuration. NOAA 13038 shall continue as the target region with a chance of some additional isolated C-class flares. The position of NOAA 13038 on 23-Jun-2022 at 11:30 UT is: N15W41, ( 599", 220" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan. Regards, Ryan Milligan (Queen's University Belfast) |
