Dear Collaborators, Solar activity remains at low levels. NOAA 13038 has remained quiescent as it approaches the western limb. NOAA 13040 in the southeast quadrant has produced some low C-class flares since the last message and shall be the new target region. The region appears to be in decay but has undergone some resurgence. Further isolated low level events possible. The position of NOAA 13040 on 26-Jun-2022 at 15:30 UT is: S12E07, ( -112", -234" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan. Regards, Ryan Milligan (Queen's University Belfast) |
