Dear Collaborators, Solar activity continues at a very low level. The largest event since the last message was a C3.1 flare produced by the plage region NOAA 13040 at 07/03/19:32 UT, which has almost rotated over the west limb. The target region NOAA 13046 has been classified as a beta/D-type configuration and was the source of a B5.3 flare at 07/04/06:13 UT. 13046 shows flux cancellations. Further B-class activities are expected with a chance of a C-class flare in the following 24 hours. The position of NOAA 13046 on July 4 at 07:30 UT is: N17E32 (-479", 233") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
