Dear Collaborators, Dear Collaborators, The northeastern target region is now numbered NOAA 3058. It was the source of another M-class event (an isolated M2.8 event at 07/14/21:48 UT). 3058 also produced three C-class events in the past 24 hours. 3058 has small but tightly mixed polarities located within the leading polarity area. NOAA 3056 (S17E03) was the source of five C-class events since the last message. NOAA 3058 will continue to be the default target for at least the next 24 hours. C-class events expected with a chance of another M-class event. The position of NOAA 3058 on July 15 at 15:30 UT is: N15E62 (Solar X = - 806", Solar Y = 211") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
