Dear Collaborators, The level of solar activity is very low. Target region NOAA 13058 continues to be the most magnetically complex active region on the visible disk. This region was classed as a beta-gamma-delta/D-type sunspot group at the start of the UT day, but appears to have now lost its delta configuration. C-class activity was observed since the last message from NOAA regions 13055 and 13056, but the target will remain on NOAA 13058 for another 24 hours due to its magnetic complexity. B-class activity is expected in the next 24 hours, with a good chance for a C-class flare. The position of NOAA 13058 on 18-Jul-2022 at 13:00 UT is: N13E19 , ( -298", 142" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan. Regards, Shaun Bloomfield (Northumbria University) |
