Dear Collaborators, Solar activity is at a low level. All of the spotted regions on the visible solar disk have shown signs of decay since the last message. Several different active regions produced between 1 and 3 C-class flares since the last message, with NOAA 13058 being the source of two that includes the largest event of the period (a C3.9 flare on 18-Jul-2022 at 23:49 UT). Additional C-class flares are probable over the following 24-hour period. The position of NOAA 13058 on 19-Jul-2022 at 12:30 UT is: N14E09 , ( -146", 154" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
