Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a low level. The dual targets of NOAA 13058 and 13060 have both decayed and only produced one C-class flare since the last message (a C1.7 on 23-Jul-2022 at 12:34 UT). The target switches to NOAA 13064 that is a beta/C-type sunspot group which has produced three C-class flares in the period, the largest being a C1.9 flare on 23-Jul-2022 at 13:25 UT. Further C-class flares are expected over the following 24-hour period. The position of NOAA 13064 on 23-Jul-2022 at 18:00 UT is: N09W07 , ( 114", 65" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
