Dear Collaborators, Solar X-ray flux has remained at the low B-level since the last message, with the exception of a C8.5 flare that occurred behind the northwest limb (NOAA 13060) and a C3.5 flare from an approaching region on the southeast limb. The region in the northeast quadrant has now been designated as NOAA 13067 but has remained quiescent. The source region for the C3.5 flare on the southeast limb shall be the new target region with chance for additional low-to-intermediate level activity. The approximate position of the target region on 27-Jul-2022 at 11:30 UT is: S17E88, ( -902", -278" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan. Regards, Ryan Milligan (Queen's University Belfast) |
