20220806 Week Rotation Today Rotation Week 20220808

Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is very low. Target NOAA 13068 has decayed slightly since the last message as it rotates up to the South West limb, now being classified as a beta/C-type sunspot group. This region continued to produce B-class activity, with the largest flare in the period included (a B9.4 on 6-Aug-2022 at 22:53 UT). NOAA 13068 will continue as the target region for a final 24 hours while it rotates over the limb. B-class flares are expected in the next 24 hours, with a chance for a C-class flare. The position of NOAA 13068 on 7-Aug-2022 at 16:30 UT is: S15W75 , ( 883", -269" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
