Dear Collaborators, Solar activity has continued at the low C-level. NOAA 13089 remains largely unchanged in terms of size and complexity, and has produced several C1 flares since the last message. The new active region on the eastern limb has been designated as NOAA 13092 and also produced some ~C1 flares. NOAA 13089 shall continue as the target region with further C-level activity likely. The position of NOAA 13089 on 2-Sep-2022 at 11:30 UT is: S22W40, ( 568", -439" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan. Regards, Ryan Milligan (Queen's University Belfast) |
