Dear Collaborators,
The target region NOAA 13089 was the source of numerous C-class flares in the past 24 hours, the largest one being a C8.2 at 09/04/16:30 UT. 13089 retains its beta-gamma-delta/E-type configuration and is rotating over the west limb. Further C-class activities are expected, still with a chance of a low M-class flare in the next 24 hours. The position of NOAA13089 on September 5 at 07:30 UT is: S23W78 (856", -391") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
