Dear Collaborators, Solar activity continues at intermediate levels. NOAA 13141 was the source of several C-class flares and another two M1 flares since the last message. It retains its beta-gamma-delta configuration but appears to be in decay. Meanwhile, NOAA 13140 to the northwest has shown signs of rapid flux emergence. Major Flare Watch shall remain in effect for a further 24 hour due to the increased possibility of an >M5 flare. NOAA 13141 shall continue as the target region but keep NOAA 13140 in your field of view as well if possible. The position of NOAA 13141 on 12-Nov-2022 at 12:30 UT is: N14W21, ( 338", 186" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan. Regards, Ryan Milligan (Queen's University Belfast) |
