Dear Collaborators, Solar activity has been at a very low level. The largest event since the last message was a C2.0 flare at 16:56 UT on 05-Dec-2022 produced by NOAA 13158. 13158 also produced a C1.6 flare and had been designated as a beta/D-type configuration with an increase in the sunspot area and number of spots. Today the target region shall switch to NOAA 13158. Yesterday's target NOAA 13156 (N24E22) was flare quiet and has decayed to an alpha/H-type region. The other three active regions with sunspots on the visible solar disk, NOAA 13153 (beta/F-type), 13155 (beta/D-type), 13157 (beta/D-type) were almost unchanged in the past 24 hours. Only high B-class and low C-class activities are expected in the next 24 hours. The position of NOAA 13158 on 06-Dec-2022 at 12:30 UT is: N24W14 (215", 394") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
