Dear Collaborators, Solar activity has dropped to a low level since the last message. The largest event was a C2.5 flare at 19:01 UT on 07-Dec-2022 produced by NOAA 13153. 13153 also produced another C1.0 plus four high B-class flares and has been designated as a beta/ F-type configuration. Today the target region shall switch to NOAA 13153. Yesterday's target NOAA 13157 (N16E09) produced two C1.3 flares and retained a beta/C-type configuration. Additional C-class activities are expected in the next 24 hours. The position of NOAA 13153 on 08-Dec-2022 at 16:30 UT is: S18W15 (240", -301") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
