Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is moderate. Target region NOAA 13234 was stable in terms of spot area and number of spots since the last message, remaining classified as a beta-delta/E-type sunspot group. NOAA 13234 again produced C-class activity in the period, but the largest magnitude flare was an M3.7 from NOAA 13229 on 24-Feb-2023 at 20:03 UT. The Major Flare Watch will remain on NOAA 13234 for a possibly final 24 hours because it retains a reasonable delta spot. M-class flares are possible in the following 24-hour period. The position of NOAA 13234 on 25-Feb-2023 at 15:00 UT is: N25E11 , ( -167", 516" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
