Dear Collaborators, Solar activity has continued at low levels since the last message. Yesterday's target region NOAA 13245 (S23W64) was quiescent during the period and has been downgraded to an alpha/H-type sunspot group. The largest event in the past 24 hours was a C3.0 flare at 05:52 UT today produced by NOAA 13250 (S18W15, beta/D-type) which was also the source of another C1 flare. The nearby region NOAA 13253 (S29W22) was more active, producing one high B- and two low C-class flares today, with emerging new sunspots in the period. 13253 continues to undergo positive flux emergence and shall be the new target. If possible, please also include NOAA 13250 in your field of view. Further C-class activities are expected in the following 24 hours. The position of NOAA 13253 on 14-Mar-2023 at 12:30 UT is: S29W22 (317", -367") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
