Dear Collaborators, Solar activity is at a moderate-to-low level since the last message. The largest event in the period was a C4.5 flare at 06:30 UT today from the target region NOAA 13256 (S22E61, beta/E-type). 13256 was also the source of other seven low C-class flares. The target will continue on this region. Please note that the nearby limb region is rotating onto the visible solar disk and has been numbered as NOAA 13257 (S27E77) with a beta/D-type configuration, which also produced eight low C-class flares in the period. Therefore, please also include NOAA 13257 in your field of view if possible. Further C-class activities are expected over the next 24 hours, with a slight chance for low M-class flares. The position of NOAA 13256 on 19-Mar-2023 at 08:30 UT is: S22E61 (-783",-305") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
