Dear Collaborators, Solar activity has reached intermediate levels since the last message. The target region NOAA 13296 was the source of two M1 flares (M1.5 at 05/07/21:40 UT and M1.6 at 05/07/22:53 UT) and also multiple C-class flares. This region was the most productive and retains its beta/E-type configuration, with mixed polarities in its leading portion. 13296 shall continue as the target region, but if possible, please also include NOAA 13297 (N08E03, beta/E-type) in your field of view, which produced a C3.1 flare at 05:05 UT today. Further low M-class flares are probable in the next 24-48 hours. The position of NOAA 13296 on 8-May-2023 11:30 UT N16W13 (206", 316") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
