Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a moderate level. Target region NOAA 13323 has grown in number of spots and has been reclassified as a beta-gamma/ D-type spot group. This region continued being the source of C-class flares since the last message, but the largest event in the period was an M1.5 flare on 2-Jun-2023 at 02:32 UT from a small pore region that is emerging flux close to central meridian. The target remains with 13323 due to its magnetic complexity and past flaring history. More high C-class flares are probable in the next 24 hours, with a chance for an isolated M-class flare. The position of NOAA 13323 on 2-Jun-2023 at 18:00 UT is: S08E47 , ( -687", -126" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
