Dear Collaborators, Solar activity has continued at the mid C-level since the last message, with flares from both NOAA 13323 and the new region near the southeast limb, which is now designated as NOAA 13327. NOAA 13232 remains the larger and more complex of the two regions, and continues to show dynamic behaviour in its trailing sunspots. It shall remain the target region for the next 24 hours with further C-level activity likely. The position of NOAA 13232 on 5-Jun-2023 on 11:30 UT is: S07E13, ( -211", -112" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan. Regards, Ryan Milligan (Queen's University Belfast) |
