Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has increased significantly since the last message. An M4.7 flare that began at 11:18 UT today in target region NOAA 13327 is currently in progress. The region has significantly increased in size and complexity and is now classified as having a beta-gamma-delta configuration. The delta spot is embedded in the trailing portion of the active region. At this time we are implementing a Major Flare Watch campaign with NOAA 13327 as the target region due to the increased likelihood of an >M5 flare in the next 24-48 hours. The position of NOAA 13327 on 7-Jun-2023 at 11:30 UT is: S14E33, ( -501", -230" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
