Dear Collaborators, Solar activity has slightly increased for the past 24 hours, with an M3.4 flare at 06:33 UT today produced by the target region NOAA 13413. 13413 was still classified as a beta/D-type magnetic configuration. Today the target shall still be this region. Please note that a spotless region (S21E45) also produced several flares, the largest being C7.4. Further C-class activities are expected, with additional moderate-level activity possible in the following 24-hour period. The position of NOAA 13413 on 2-Sep-2023 at 11:30 UT N10W83 (929", 149") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
