Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is very low. Target region NOAA 13463 has decayed losing its spots, and remained flare quiet since the last message. The largest flare in the period came from the North West limb - a C1.6 on 18-Oct-2023 at 01:31 UT. This limb location becomes the target for the following 24-hour period because the 3 spotted regions on disk have been stable in terms of magnetic flux and unremarkable in terms of flaring. C-class activity is probable in the next 24 hours. The approximate position of this region on 18-Oct-2023 at 18:00 UT is: N27W90 , ( 858", 435" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
