Dear Collaborators, The level of solar activity is very low. Target region NOAA 13469 remained stable since the last message, continuing to be classed as a beta/D-type group. The plage region that was previously NOAA 13467 has regained this numbering after forming new spots. 13467 (an alpha/A-type group) becomes the new target. C-class activity is possible in the next 24 hours. The position of NOAA 13467 on 22-Oct-2023 at 20:00 UT is: N14W37 , ( 565", 164" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan. Regards, Shaun Bloomfield (Northumbria University) |
