Dear Collaborators, Solar activity has achieved a moderate level since the last message. Target Region NOAA 13480 produced two low M-class flares, as well as several C-class flares, the largest event being an M1.8 at 11:34 UT yesterday. Multiple C-class flares were also observed from NOAA 13472 as it transits the northwest limb. NOAA 13480 retains its beta-type configuration and will continue to be the target region for a further 24 hours. Continued C-class activity is likely with slight chance for an isolated M-class flare. The position of NOAA 13480 on 06-Nov-2023 at 12:30 UT is: S09E33, (-522", -205") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
