Dear Collaborators,
NOAA 13480 has remained quiescent since the last message, reducing in both area and complexity, and is now classified as a beta-type region. However, several C-class flares were produced from newly emerged active region NOAA 13483 close to disk centre, the largest being a C6.9 at 08:39 UT today. NOAA 13483 is currently classified a beta-type region and will be the new target region. Further C-class flares likely over the next 24 hours. The position of NOAA 13483 on 08-Nov-2023 at 12:30 UT is: N10W05, (83", 107") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
