Dear Collaborators, Solar activity has continued at a low level since the last message. A small number of C-class flares were produced, the largest being a C2.5 at 04:20 UT today from the southeast limb. NOAA 13485 remains in view, close to the southwest limb, but has only produced a single C-class flare over the last 24 hours. NOAA 13486 is trailing NOAA 13485 in the southwest quadrant and shows signs of increasing area. The southwest limb surrounding NOAA 13485 (with NOAA 13486 in the field of view) will continue to be the target region for a further 24 hours, with a chance of further isolated C-class events from the regions moving toward and over the limb. The position of NOAA 13485 on 16-Nov-2023 at 12:30 UT is: S18W91, (921", -298") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
