Dear Collaborators, Solar activity has remained at a low level since the last message. A small number of C-class flares were produced over the last 24 hours, the largest being a C4.9 from a currently unnumbered active region on the southeast limb at 20:03 UT yesterday. NOAA 13485 has now passed behind the southwest limb. NOAA 13486 appears to have reduced in area as it begins its transit of the southwest limb. The target region will switch to the new active region near the southeast limb for the next 24 hours, with a chance for further C-class activity. The approximate position of the new target region on 17-Nov-2023 at 12:30 UT is: S15E79, (-920", -259") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
