Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has been at a high level since the last message. The largest "event" was an X1.1 flare at 00:58 UT today produced by the target region NOAA 13615 as well as NOAA 13614 (N17W02, beta/D-type)! 13615 also produced four low M-class flares during the period. It retains a beta-gamma-delta/E-type configuration, with increasing in the number of spots significantly. Additional M-class flares are expected with a chance of another X-class flare in the next one or two days. The position of NOAA 13615 on March 23 at 08:30 UT is: S13E05 (-82", -102") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
