Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has remained at a low level. The target region (still unnumbered) near the southeast limb has produced three C1 and two high-B flares, with the largest one being a C1.2 flare at 16:55 UT yesterday. This limb region shall continue as the target due to its relatively high flaring productivity. Note that another unnumbered region near the northeast limb (N26E86) produced a C1.6 flare and two active regions (NOAA 13632 and NOAA 13629) also produced a few high-B flares. More C-class activities are probable from various regions in the next 24-hour period. The approximate position of the target on 6-Apr-2024 at 11:30 UT is: S07E87 (-900", -100") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
