Dear Collaborators, Solar activity persists at a high level. NOAA 13664 has produced several significant flares, the largest being an X4.0 at 06:27 UT today. This region continues to show significant signatures of magnetic flux and dynamic sunspot behaviour. The Major Flare Watch will continue with NOAA 13664 as the target region. Additional M-class activity is expected with a good chance for further >M5 flares in the next 24 hours. The position of NOAA 13664 on 10-May-2024 at 11:30 UT is: S19W41, (591",-272") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
