Dear Collaborators, Solar activity has been at a moderate level. The target region NOAA 13679 produced three M-class flares with the largest one being an M4.2 at 02:05 UT today. This region also produced six C-class flares including a C8.5. It has been designated as a beta-gamma-delta/E-type configuration. Additional low M-class flares are possible as this region further rotates to the west limb. The position of NOAA 13679 on May 23 at 03:30 UT is: S09W61 (820", -134") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
