Dear Collaborators, Solar activity has remained at an intermediate level since the last message. NOAA 13697 produced over 15 flares, including an X1.0 at 18:24 UT yesterday. The Major Flare Watch will continue as this region shows signs of dynamic sunspot behaviour and complexity. Additional M-class activity is expected, with a chance for an isolated >M5 event in the next 24 hours. The position of NOAA 13697 on 02-June-2024 at 07:30 UT is: S18E17, (-264",-286") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
