Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Date: Tue, 22 Apr 2014 10:23:59 -0700

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

The current level of solar activity is low-moderate. Since the previous message, yesterday's target (NOAA 12035) was responsible for a series of C-class events, including the largest event since the previous message, a C8.8 flare on 22-Apr-2014 at 11:29 UT. The region is undergoing continued flux emergence and exhibits at least one small mixed-polarity spot. Further high C-class activity is possible, with a chance for a low M-class flare.

The position of NOAA 12035 on 22-Apr-2014 at 17:20 UT is:

S15W68, ( 853", -216" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
