Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

The level of solar activity is moderate. Since the previous message, NOAA 12173 was responsible for C-class activity and the largest event, a M1.0 flare on 28-Sep-2014 at 17:33 UT. However, the region continues to decay. NOAA 12175 maintains its strong delta configuration, but its flux emergence appears to have subsided and no significant activity was released. On the other hand, NOAA 12177 has emerged new flux in its following and intermediate portion, resulting in a mixed polarity spot. The region has was responsible for moderate C-class activity, so far. Further C-class events are likely with a chance for an M-class flare.

The position of NOAA 12177 on 29-Sep-2014 18:30 UT is:

N12E33, ( -509",105" )
