Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

The level of solar activity is moderate. Since the previous message, NOAA 12173 was responsible for an M5.1 flare on 28-Sep-2014 at 2:58 UT. However, the region does not show a strong polarity separation line or further substantial flux emergence. On the other hand, NOAA 12175 is rapid emerging flux in the following portion, and its delta spot has strengthened. High C-class activity is expected, with a chance for an M-class event.

The position of NOAA 12175 on 28-Sep-2014 16:40 UT is:

N15W45, ( 655",168" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
