Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at very low levels. The newly-emerged bipolar region close to disk center has now been designated as NOAA 12266 but has remained quiescent. The only events over the past 24 hours were a few C1.0 flares from the unnumbered region on the eastern limb that shall remain the target region. The magnetic configuration of the region is still unknown at this time but additional low level events may be possible.
The position of the target region on 19-Jan-2015 at 16:35 UT is:
N08E87, ( -964", 140" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
