Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is at a very low level. NOAA 12282 remains the largest and most complex region on the visible disk. This region has maintained spot area over the past 24 hours, but has continued to show signs of decay by increasing in number of spots. 12282 has maintained classification as a beta-gamma/C-type sunspot group, but has only produced a single B-class flare since yesterday’s message (a B6.2 on 15-Feb-2015 at 09:02 UT). C-class flares are possible over the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 12282 on 15-Feb-2015 at 18:00 UT is:
N11W19, ( 311”, 293” )
