Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Mon, 30 Mar 2015 08:35:06 -0600 Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Solar activity remains at low levels. The largest event was a C4.7 at 01:38 UT on March 30 produced by NOAA 12303 (N18W91), which has rotated completely over the limb now. Yesterday's target region NOAA 12305 was the source of a C1.6 event at 18:45 on March 29. 12305 is classified as a D-type/beta magnetic configuration. Although 12305 is in decay phase, it is the most potential region on the solar disk to produce C-class activity in the next 24 hours. The position of NOAA 12305 on March 30 at 11:35 UT is: S10W43 (Solar X = 647", Solar Y = -85") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
