Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at intermediate levels with several C-class flares emanating from NOAA 12320 over the past 24 hours. A large sunspot group has appeared on the northeast limb but has only produced a C4.7 flare (at 02:29 UT today) so far. The region is as yet unnumbered and its magnetic configuration is unclear but it shall be the new target region. The region has the potential to increase activity significantly over the coming days.
The approximate position of the target region on 11-Apr-2015 at 15:35 UT is:
N13E74, ( -896", 241" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
