Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity remains at a low level. NOAA region 12335 continues to be the largest spotted region on the visible disk. This region has undergone minor flux emergence over the past 24 hours and is classified as a beta/D-type sunspot group, although it appears to exhibit magnetic polarity mixing in its intermediate portion (i.e. a beta-gamma configuration). NOAA 12335 has maintained flaring at the C-class level, producing 6 low C-class flares and the largest event in the previous 24 hours (a C8.0 on 4-May-2015 at 00:43 UT). Further C-class activity is expected in the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 12335 on 4-May-2015 at 18:00 UT is:
S16E27, ( -418", -208" )
