Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a moderate-to-high level. NOAA region 12371 has shown some initial signs of decay over the past 24 hours, decreasing slightly in spot area and reasonably in number of spots. This region has remained classified as a beta-gamma-delta/F-type sunspot group, and was the source of two low C-class events since yesterday's M6.5 flare. The MM#003 Major Flare Watch will continue for a further 24 to 48 hours as this region still shows signs of significant magnetic shear and possible spot rotation. More C-class activity is expected over the next 24 hours, with a good chance for M-class flares and a small chance of an isolated X-class flare.
The position of NOAA 12371 on 23-Jun-2015 at 16:00 UT is:
N13W22, ( 343", 183" )
