Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity has been at very low levels since the M1.5 flare. The target region NOAA 12378 was the source of two C1 events. 12378 was classified as a Beta/D-type sunspot group. It is showing some mixed polarities in its intermediate portion. C-class activity is likely in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 12378 on July 4 at 11:35 UT is:
S17E49 (Solar X = -682", Solar Y = -309")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
