MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar flare activity was at low levels during the past 24 hours. The current background x-ray flux is at the B2.6 level. The largest event since the last message was a C1.5 at 08/01/20:05 UT produced by target region NOAA 2390. 2390 was also the source of 5 B-class events. 2390 will continue to be the target region until it completes west limb passage. No significant flare activity expected in the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 2390 on August 02 at 14:35 UT is: S14W88 (Solar X = 916", Solar Y = -230")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
