MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
NOAA 2403 continues to decay especially within its trailing portion. 2403 is currently classified as an F-type/beta-gamma sunspot with a weak magnetic delta configuration located in its leading polarity sunspot. 2403 was the source of numerous C-class events and an isolated M2.2 event at 08/28/13:16 UT. C-class events expected with the chance of another M-class event in the next 24 hour period. A major flare =/>M5 is now not likely.
The position of NOAA2403 on August 28 at 12:30 UT is: S15W64 (Solar X = 825", Solar Y = -294")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
