Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at a low level. Over the past 24 hours, NOAA 12473 has again grown significantly in number of spots and marginally in spot area. This growth has resulted in 12473 being redesignated as a beta-gamma-delta/F-type sunspot group, but it may have already lost the weak delta-spot in its intermediate portion. This region has only managed to produce B-class events since the last message but includes the largest magnitude flare of the period - a B9.7 on 27-Dec-2015 at 11:58 UT. Further C-class activity is expected over the following 24 hours, with a chance for an isolated low M-class flare.
The position of NOAA 12473 on 27-Dec-2015 at 16:30 UT is:
S22E00, ( -1", -328" )
