Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is at low levels. NOAA 12488 was the source of four C-class flares (the largest being a C3.5 at 7:57 UT on January 29) and several B-class flares since the last message. 12488 has developed a complex beta-gamma magnetic configuration in the past 24 hours. We will switch back to NOAA 12488. Additional C-class activities are expected in the following one or two days when 12488 is rotating over the west limb.
The position of NOAA 12488 on January 29 at 15:35 UT is:
N04W64 (Solar X = 874", Solar Y = 110")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
